At Brockwell Court Care Home, we don’t just provide care — we create a home filled with warmth, dignity, laughter and respect.
We’re looking for a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) ready to step into a Clinical Deputy Manager role where your leadership will shape not only clinical standards, but daily life for the people who live and work here.
If you believe outstanding care comes from empowered teams and meaningful relationships, this could be your next chapter.
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll be the steady, supportive presence at the heart of the home. Working alongside the Home Manager, you’ll help guide the team, nurture talent, and ensure every resident receives exceptional, person-centred care.
You will:
Lead by example, setting a positive and professional tone throughout the home
Inspire, mentor and develop nurses and care colleagues
Champion dignity, respect and individual choice
Monitor clinical standards through audits and hands-on practice
Ensure care plans truly reflect each resident’s story, preferences and needs
Oversee safeguarding and clinical risk management with confidence
Prepare thoughtful rotas that support safe, consistent staffing
Act as Manager in the Home Manager’s absence
You’ll enjoy a balance of supernumerary time and working on the floor, staying connected to both residents and your team. Weekends are included on a fair rota basis.
You are:
A Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
Experienced in dementia care and complex clinical needs
Skilled in mentoring and supporting others to thrive
Calm under pressure and confident in decision-making
Passionate about person-centred care and positive behavioural support
Organised, approachable and an excellent communicator
Driven to continuously improve standards and outcomes
Most of all, you bring empathy, resilience and a genuine desire to create a home where residents feel safe, valued and understood.
At Harbour Healthcare, we know that great care starts with great leadership. We are committed to supporting our managers with the tools, encouragement and autonomy they need to succeed.
Here, your ideas are welcomed.
Your leadership is valued.
And your impact is seen every single day.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership journey and make a meaningful difference in a supportive, people-focused environment, we would love to hear from you.
